Mosman Residence II
This renovation of a home built in the 80s required some initial remediation of water ingress and other issues, before a structural facelift at the rear to take advantage of the commanding views over the harbour and the heads.
The entire home was upgraded, with a new kitchen, and joinery throughout. The final product was delivered to the delight of our fantastic clients and their growing family.

2025 MBA NSW Excellence in Housing Awards
We are delighted that our entry into the industry’s premiere awards night has been listed as Finalist in its respective category!
Our recently completed Northbridge Residence II project was extremely challenging, in terms of logistics, changes in levels, difficult access, unknown site conditions, materials handling difficulties, and even the weather! Despite these issues, the home that sits on a 2,500m2 waterfront block in Northbridge was finished to the highest standard, to the delight of our clients, as well as Design King Company & Partridge Engineers – two well-established firms that we have collaborated with on many projects for almost two decades.
Horizon have been fortunate to have won over 20 awards, over more than 15 years, demonstrating our ability to consistently deliver the highest quality to our stakeholders – year in, year out, including in 2017, when we were awarded the industry’s highest honour as Master Builder of the Year.

Horizon Bricklaying tutorial day
A few of our Horizon team members recently headed out to Bilpin for a hands-on bricklaying tutorial day with Steve Ouzman from J&O Bricklaying.
The day was all about giving our guys the chance to step away from their usual routine to learn new skills and growing their hands-on knowledge.
It was a great mix of development, fresh country air, and teamwork — with David’s legendary smoked BBQ to top it all off.

Dover Heights Residence II
A sneak peek at the spa inside our client’s new wellness centre — that will also feature a custom-built spa beneath a skylight and a sleek steam sauna. A pond surrounds the outside of the wellness centre, creating a serene, retreat-like atmosphere. We’re working closely with the designers at Nina Maya Interiors to bring this vision to life.
This wellness centre is just one part of a larger renovation that, once complete, will offer a sanctuary designed for rest, recovery, and quiet luxury.
Surry Hills Terraces
These beautiful chimney pots were handcrafted by Gargoyles and Dragons in Melbourne, VIC — one of the few places still keeping this craft alive. Made using traditional methods, each pot was formed in a two-part mold, air-dried for weeks, then glazed and fired in the kiln. They now ready to sit proudly atop the terraces, restoring the heritage chimneys to their former glory.

I’ve been at Horizon for 9.5 years.
Where were you born?

What do you love about your job?
Never getting bored – every day brings a new challenge, which keeps things interesting and pushes me to keep learning.
What are you working on at the moment?
Working on a 10 terrace project in Surry Hills
What do you enjoy about working with architects and designers?
Coming from a construction background, working with architects and designers offers a unique perspective on how to collaborate harmoniously.
What’s the most useful thing you’ve learned throughout your career?
Patients can go a long way.

Favourite dessert?
Deep fried ice cream with caramel topping
What do you do outside of work?
I play in a band. It’s loud and fun but it probably drives my neighbours a little crazy!
