Building projects you'll love, and love building together - since 1980.

Project of the Month

Dover Heights Residence II

Nestled within a quiet, cliffside cul-de-sac in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, this project presented both a striking opportunity and a series of complex challenges. Set on a wedge-shaped site with a constrained entry sequence, the home unfolds with a dramatic double-height foyer that bridges two distinct wings - all divided by a central pool and unified through thoughtful design and flow.

Originally scoped as a high-end renovation to include new ensuites, kitchen, bar, joinery, flooring, and a dedicated wellness centre, the project quickly evolved as underlying structural and waterproofing issues were uncovered.

What followed was an extensive program of remedial works, but beyond the technical, the project demanded precision and ingenuity. Difficult access—via three flights of stairs and craning materials through the home—required careful coordination, particularly when installing large-format stone elements and bespoke finishes.

The resulting home is both refined and expressive. Nina Maya Interiors has gifted this family home a soft, neutral palette layered with rich textures, contrasted by dark timber joinery and bronze-framed openings that anchor views to the surrounding landscape. Open-plan living spaces flow seamlessly, connecting the interior to a sequence of outdoor zones including the wellness centre, pool deck, and alfresco areas. Lush, terraced landscaping softens the architectural form, creating a sense of retreat while enhancing the home’s connection to its elevated setting.

Delivered with minimal architectural documentation, this project is a testament to collaborative problem-solving and a commitment to both craftsmanship and design integrity.

AIB Awards Finalist

We are proud to announce that our Potts Point Penthouse project has been named a finalist for the Australian Institute of Building’s 2026 NSW Professional Excellence Award in the Residential $2–$25 Million category.

This recognition reflects the successful delivery of a complex and technically challenging project, achieved through strong collaboration, careful coordination, and a consistent commitment to quality and safety.

"The project involved constructing two, two-storey penthouses on top of a fully occupied ageing apartment tower. Working within a densely occupied tower, with one lift for residents and contractors, lifting all materials off of and onto site with a crane and coordinating trades to strict sequencing presented significant challenges — all while minimising disruption to residents and maintaining the highest site and surrounds safety standards."

Celebrating the Easts Bays Junior Rugby Mums on Mothers day!

As proud sponsors of Easts Bays Junior Rugby, we were delighted to shout all the amazing rugby mums a coffee on Mother's Day morning as a small token of our appreciation.

From early morning kick-offs to sideline cheering, washing muddy uniforms, organising schedules, and providing endless encouragement, these incredible mums are the heart and soul of junior sport.

Thank you to all the Easts Junior Rugby mums for everything you do — we hope you enjoyed your well-deserved coffee!

Under Construction

Vaucluse Residence

Perched high above Vaucluse with sweeping ocean views, this remarkable new build continues to take shape. The project has now progressed to the interior stage, where many of the home's defining features are beginning to come together.

Custom joinery is currently being installed throughout the home, including the kitchen and key living spaces, while tiling works are underway in the bathrooms and other wet areas. Heated flooring systems are also being installed, adding an extra layer of comfort and luxury to the residence. Externally, rendering works are progressing, further enhancing the home's striking architectural presence.

With each stage, this exceptional Vaucluse residence moves one step closer to becoming a truly spectacular family home.

Cool Products

Dyson Spot+Scrub™ AI

Most robot vacuums do a passable job on general dirt, but stains have always been their blind spot. The Dyson Spot+Scrub AI actually tackles them — using an AI camera and LED illumination to detect nearly 200 types of household spills, then scrubbing repeatedly until they're gone (up to 15 passes, with a check in between each one). The wet roller cleans itself as it goes so it's always working with clean water, suction auto-boosts on carpets, and the dock handles emptying, refilling, and drying the roller when it's done. It's the first robot cleaner that genuinely seems to understand the difference between "looks clean" and "is clean."
